LONDON, 22 March, 2021 – Metric Capital Partners LLP (“MCP”), announces the acquisition of multiple portfolios of Non-Performing Loans and Real-Estate Owned assets (“the Portfolios”).
The Portfolios consist of more than 3500 secured loans backed by real estate and portfolios of approximately 1000 real estate assets in Spain. The total outstanding balance of the portfolio is approximately € 630 million.
MCP partnered with Albatris (together, the “Consortium”) on the transaction. Albatris is an alternative investment management firm, focusing on tailored credit investments with extensive experience in distressed debt and non-performing loans.

This is MCP’s sixth investment in Spain and its first portfolio acquisition in the country. To date MCP has invested approximately € 300 million in Spain.
